"Authorities said they are anticipating charging some of the undocumented people alleged to have voted in Bexar County with felony violation of state law before they are turned over to immigration agents and likely deported.
As the federal portion of the investigation begun in late May winds down, Bexar County District Attorney Susan Reed will determine how she'll proceed in the case of the 41 people who allegedly voted, some repeatedly, despite being non-citizens. "
What do you think?

Pick a Number I think Arizona's voting requirements, already upheld by the 9th Circuit court of appeal should be made national requirements. In California there was at least one race where the number of illegally cast ballots exceeded the gap in votes between the candidates. Mind you, only on challenged votes do you even get an audit.

Great question, those on the Left will wrongly argue that it unfairly keeps "the poor and minorities" from voting. I have to show ID if I want to buy beer, tobacco, or fireams. Why do liberals think voters shouldn't have to prove their identification before registering to vote and casting a vote ?

The whole referendum was fluff. 1. A state law can't supersede a federal law. 2. Federal law states proof of citizenship, picture ID, is required at registration. Proof of identity, signature to match registration signature, is required at poll. Picture ID is only required first time voting at that poll. Law created in the late 80s. 3. Illegals have little desire to to take a chance to vote and get caught. 4. Current law works very well in AZ. Fraud is none existent. Obviously most people answering here have never voted. SCE2AUX - You've been duped again by Fox's demonizations. The 9th has more than 50 judges. It is NOT a liberal court. Reagan, Bush, Bush appointees have said as much. Get informed

Frankly I would like to have federal agents investigate this in California. It's too well organized over here. There is too many funny business in California. Not only are non citizens voting here, we got one who ended up a city council person, before the feds caught on.

One would think that all of this mess should have been resolved years ago. But politicians, and politicians in the making need votes. DIRTY Politicians will take any votes. Whether illegally from non-citizens, or citizens in Federal, and State prisons with Federal charges against them. Even those with Federal charges against them living in our communities.
So who is really at fault? You may not agree with me, in fact many might not, and that's okay. But I know it falls on the door steps of our politicians who would do anything to be in an office position. From mayor, to city counsel, to county, to state, and finally federal. If one thinks that they are going to clean up the problem without the insistence of the people... then one is sadly mistaken. I intend to hold them all accountable for misleading, and misrepresenting themselves, as well as misappropriations of the funds they received to clean up the mess in the first place.
And yes the illegals share a fair burden of this fraud too. But who is behind it all? Some organizations are, and have been encouraging them to do so. And those organizations are just as DIRTY, and CROOKED as the Politicians who look the other way to receive these votes. Because those organizations are looking to put a certain ethnic group in charge of this country. So everyone involved should be prosecuted, fined, and deported or in prison for the whole mess. So I hope she is very successful in her case against them. But she is also up against some bought off judges who also look the other way when it comes to the illegals in this country.
I used to be able to afford a lot of things by way of getting more for my money I earn. I've cut back a lot, in a lot of areas. I use to be able to afford those things because I didn't have the burden of picking up someone else's tab for their misfortunes, or for their crimes, for employers, and businesses hiring illegals, or for being here illegally. I'm done with picking up the tab. Aren't you? So we as American citizens have to start taking back, and demanding better of our set of representatives, from local, and county levels, to State, and Federal levels, Because they won't do it without us, and that I can assure you.

I think it is more of a problem that we even know. The illegals and their supporters almost see this as their right, and see any type of documentation to prove that they are USA citizens are racist because of the large number are Hispanic are being challenged because they are Hispanic. Just because you are Hispanic and there are large numbers of you, that does not mean you get a pass when you have to prove that you are legible to vote.

The Dimocrats are against requiring voters to prove that they are legal citizens of the US in order to vote. I assume it is because there are hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who vote for Dimocrats and only a small percentage vote for Repubs. The Dims are okay with illegal aliens voting as long as the majority of them vote for Dims!
I am not trying to sling mud here, that is the only logical conclusion a reasonable person can come to for the Dims being against checking the citizenship status of voters.

I may be Pro Reform but I'm also Pro Citizen. That is our right alone. It's against Federal Law and also just plain ticks me off.We have enough corruption in our voting system to allow this type of thing to continue.Personally I hope they get max time just to drive a point home. The point? DON'T EVEN TRY IT.

I think that unfortunately voter fraud is an old sin in our society. There should be draconian penalties for vote fraud and if an official of the government is found aiding and abetting they should get a death sentence. It will not happen but it should!

both parties are guilty of wanting the vote no matter how they get them so it should be a requirement that you must provide valid proof of citizenship before you can cast your vote and you should also have a paper trail to follow the vote and never again allow nine people on the supreme court to decide an election our forefathers would have been ashamed at that turn of events
