Yes, you can be a christian if you once went to church and were baptized and became a christian. You can not just say you believe in God and the bible and boom, you are a christian. You have to accept the Lord God as your savior and be baptized through the submission of yourself into holy water. Once you do that, you will be a christian for life. But, there are responsibilities of being a christian and one is that the bible says that you need to fellowship and go to church which is the body of christ. It says that Jesus is the head and WE, christians and the church, are the body. When you are a christian, it helps to be involved in daily teachings and fellowshiping so that you can continue to grow spiritually. Just because we are christians does not mean that things dont go wrong or that we dont have hard times. We do, and sometimes I think we have more than non-believers because satan wants to attack those who are following God. That is when you will get support from your church family and be able to talk to others who have dealt with what you are dealing with and will learn how to make it through. I hope this helped you and if you are not prompted to want to go to church, maybe you just have not found the right church yet. Once you do, you will look forward to being able to go to church. and fellowhip and sing and hear the word.

Yes you can but why, unless you live on a deserted island or something I can't understand why you would not want to go to church, Doesn't the Bible say to not forsake the assembling of yourselves together, we draw strength from other Christians and we can Praise the Lord together, in Matt. 18:20, were two or three are gathered there together in my name there am I in the midst of them. There is more power with God when a lot of people pray than with one praying, Remember there was a 120 in the upper room on the day of Pentecost. Maybe the problem is you are in the wrong church, check out few different ones, let the spirit guide you, and I promise you will start enjoying church. May God Bless You and guide you to the Church he has already chosen for you.

Well, yes, but the bible doesn't advise it.
The bible tells us that it is not good for Christians to practice their faith alone. Fellowship is necessary to strengthen your faith as well as strengthening others faith, and also knowing you are not alone.
After I divorced, I stayed away from church for two years.
They were THE WORST two years of my life. I was alone and hurting. I had no one to talk to, no one to fellowship with.
When I finally found a church, I made friends, good friends.
I had people to lean on if I needed help, dinners I was invited to, people to play softball with, to do bible study with and friends to sit with in church. I had a family again and it felt good.
Choose what you want to do, but you will be more fulfilled in your faith when you have people to celebrate it with.
The beauty is, there are so many good Christian churches out there, that if you are not being fulfilled at your current church, look around and find a Christian church you are comfortable with...

Yes you can, but it is better for you to go to church.
It is good for you to be around other people that preach the word of God!
As a matter of fact, I think it tells you that somewhere in the bible!
But yes you can still be a christian without having to go to church, but the churches are there for you to help you maintain your life as a christian!
But remember.......God will be there for you either way as long as you are trying to live by his word!
And remember no one is perfect, and God will forgive you! Just repent!

Yes, it's possible to be a Christian without going to church. But the church can be an important in helping you to grow and become strong in your faith, so you can resist temptation and become more like Jesus.
One of the ways we grow spiritually is through our fellowship and worship with other believers—in other words, through a church where Christ is honored. Not only do we learn from the Bible as it is taught, but we also learn from other believers who can help and encourage us. The Bible says, "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another" (Hebrews 10:25).

You can but as a Christian you would want to go to Church to be with other believers. If not you are denying the assembling of the Saints.

Jesus didn't go to church, unless it was to throw out the money changers. Or to argue with the leaders of the organized church of the day.
If he were here today, he'd probably do the same. And become a Peace Activist.
"Blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called the children of God" words of Jesus Christ

Yes, of course. I'm a Christian, and I haven't been to church in a few months. But it's nice for the fellowship and all sometimes.

I very much believe that yes. Ive been to several and some are hypocritical and just dont have the right feeling.
My spirit, my heart and soul and prayers are my church, God and I are ok with that. There is still fellowship with friends and family and sometimes strangers. Its all Good!

MY FRIEND, NO!!!!....... You are a christian so you must listen to the word of God which is only stated in the church during mass. How could you learn more about God if you don't go to church so it is just useless, and there is a tendency that you will turn to a non-believer because you will start to ask questions about God which is impossible for us humans to answer. ^_^
