for a Muslim man like myself it is way easier for a muslim man to find a non-muslim female but im holding out for a muslima am i doing the wrong thing?

Well, how can you find a muslim girl when her family never lets her go outdoors?

No you are quite right.As a muslim you should search the muslima for your wife although you can married to non muslima,but you as the leader of a family should make her a good muslima.Converting other religion to Islam is not an easy effort..It should be guided by Allah to move her heart.You must select the potential wife of her (1)religion (2)beauty (3)wealth and (4)descendant.But the most important is number 1. her religion including her behaviour.You search the potential wife in USA through your muslim friends or around the world through correspondence with the spouse or matching bureau..In line with islamic teaching,our spouse/pair is decided by Allah.But anyway you should make an effort for finding the right muslima who is fit for you.If you become a member of islamic organization you can search her among the members.You must mingle with them actively so they will know how good you are.In Indonesia there is a proverb if you do not acknowledge her you will not love her.

Are you living in a non-Muslim country? Well, if you are, then of course you are surrounded by a great many non-Muslim women and fewer Muslim women. I am an American Muslim revert to Islam, married to a lovely Egyptian man, alhamdulillah. We live in the US. I would counsel you to find a Muslim girl to marry even if this means you have to move to another city, state, or even country. The risks of marrying a non-Muslim are too great if you live in a non-Muslim country. Most countries' laws are biased to the women and if there are disputes you can end up in jail, deported, or worse.
If you are having trouble finding a good wife, look to yourself first. What kind of a good Muslim husband will you make? Do you pray the five prayers? Do you attend the Friday prayer every week? Is your income from a halaal source? Do you honor your parents and keep good relations with your family? Do you smoke or drink or have any other bad habits? Are you patient? Are you willing to be a partner in a marriage and not a "boss"? Evaluate yourself honestly. Make sure you are fulfilling your obligations to Allah. Make du'a to Allah so He will help you find a wife. Go to the Islamic center in your area or even place a Muslim matrimonial ad with a trusted site like islamicity.com. It may take some time but better to wait and find a good woman rather than settle for someone who does not worship Allah in the proper way and regret it down the line.
Now is the blessed month of Ramadan - spend your free time in worship, ask Allah whatever you want. May He grant you what you wish or something better than that. Ameen.

It is better to get married with a Muslims girl, since a Non-Muslim girl and you have to sacrifice a lot, especially a Non-Muslims girl will not have to change herself, but she has to born again.

I believe in one thing, good muslim guy is for a good muslimah, and bad muslim is for bad muslimah... so i think its really fair
