There are many bonuses and allowances also, but the best one is retirement for "active duty", not reserve or grard which only allows retirement at age 60 and 50 points(days) per year except for active duty. Active duty retirement is 2.5% of highest pay per year of service after 20 years. I retired with 21 years and 52.5% of highest pay at age 42.

Same as an E-2 in any other branch of the armed forces. That's excluding if you're getting any bonuses, like combat pay.

Not counting food and lodging. If you are on-base, living in the barracks, this would be provided free.
