I don't like to work. It takes away my time for spirituality. I think my time is better spent poolside, under the palm trees, with an icy cold vanilla vodka, contemplating the universe and all of creation. I went to work the other day, and, I had forgotten how bad it can be. I mean, they make you do stuff. I don't want to do stuff. I want to relax. I think it is almost time to throw on a couple of steaks, would you like to come over?

I would love to come over! I think that is one of the best career objectives I have heard of. Tell me when! I'll bring the vodka. ;-)

It is an excellent career objective and a wonderful way to keep in touch with one's spirituality. Especially, when you have found something you do rather well. Sitting under palm trees sipping on vanilla vodka can be a full-time job in itself.

Geez, when you put it like that work is torture.
I would love to sit poolside, with a grill full of steaks, and at least one cooler of Miller High Life next to me. Vanilla vodka sounds nice but the world doesn't like me mixed with hard liquor. Fixing the world and its problems are better done drunk, sunburned and full of meat.
Career objective, hell make it a religion!

Medium rare for me. You are not unemployed, you are a struggling writer waiting to be discovered. You need a benefactor. I took an early retirement to travel with my husband, who passed away last year before we ever had a chance to travel. Both of us had some wonderful travel memories, but we did not get to experience them together. I am a struggling writer, as I have no intention of going back to work.

love to. Can I have Fresca instead?

Unemployment is an excellent career objective if you want to spend your time in contemplation, sucking off the teat of government funds. slurp away

Well fortunately,I was laid of my job of many years about 4 weeks ago..How else could I responsibly keep up with R&S,360page,e-mails,messages etc...praying for others..and having a good time? It's just the height of arrogance and irresponsibility to be working at a time like this.

Who's paying for the vittles, you're broke? I'll be over with a couple of Porterhouses. You can have the Vodka, I don't drink.

I call unemployment "early retirement" ... it takes some of the stigma out of it... lol

I'm on my way, I'll bring a fine brandy and some vodka for the host.
