I'm reading 2 books that were recommended to me by 2 R/S people. One is The Witch Hunts, which Raji the Green Witch recommended. Raji, if you are reading this, it is an excellent book and I thank you for the recommendation very much! The other is called Positive Magic, and it is about Witchcraft, and Metaphysics, and is just a super read about the basics of magic, and very readable and informative book. Both these books are educating me in the history and the practice of my path, Witchcraft.

Thanks for such a really good question! Others can perhaps find out about some of the things others are doing to grow in their spiritual path.

Bright Blessings,
Lady Morgana )0(

I don't think studying is the word for it...

I collect old books about the occult and metaphysics, which I read for laughs more than anything else. They make an interesting psychological/sociological analysis of the era they were written in, but otherwise most are really just plain awful. The pictures and drawings are well worth the effort I take to get the books though. Priceless!

I recently picked up "The Dark Arts" a manifesto from the 1960s which is cackle-worthy.

Druidry.
Come follow the druid path.
Also Shamanism, helped me a great deal in discovering who you really are. This body is just a fragment of who you really are, to evolve spiritually you should establish a stronger connection with your true spirit. Deep meditation and journeying is the only way to advance spiritually, books can only help you in methods to reach that state of consiousness.

Ultimately, the bible. But the book ''what does the bible really teach'' has reallllyyyy helped me to fully uinderstand the bible. It breaks down the bible and makes it simplier to understand. No opinions, bias, philosophy or any junk like that. Just a study aid for the bible. Its made by Jehovah's witnesses that freely distribute it. I highly recommend that.

Actually, I'm reading The Urantia Book right now. It's very fascinating and provides some extraordinary answers.

I finally got a copy and am starting to read The Spiral Dance by Starhawk. I am hoping to find this book as stimulating as it is supposed to be, so far, so good.
