Dear Enya,
To be a Christian is to believe in and follow Christ. From your very first sentence it seems that you've done that. You want to live for Him, you want to become more and more like Him, you want to serve Him and others!
Don't let your friend cause you to doubt your salvation. The Holy Spirit is our witness.
If you are really that uncertain- you can ask your Bible study teacher at church or Pastor to pray with you to receive Christ- although they may assure you that you are already saved. i would say - don't wonder- be sure...
From what you've shared though it seems like you love God, want to grow in Him, and it seems your off to a great start.
Kindly in Christ,
Nickster =)

Your friend has a point. I think he is trying to ask you when you believed that Jesus is the Living Son of God, that He died for your sins and was resurrected on the third day and when you repented of your sins. This decission is a one time thing. Once you believe who Jesus is and what He did for you and you received the gift of salavation then you became saved. The Bible is clear of this. You may not remember the exact date but you should know that you have made this decission. If you need Scriptures I can provide them. Just e-mail me.

lol...I met up with someone in my life that was like that, who tried to pull me from my faith...I walked away from them.....
In catholic churches you are baptized just days after birth (in most cases); in some christian churches a person determines when they feel they want to be baptized (and they're dunked in some lake), and in other christian churches they say outwardly to their minister that they have made Christ their personal savior. So it sounds to me like you were talking with a person of another faith (different than yours). This is why you should mix with people of your own religion rather than get things in mind about your own religion confused. Make friends from your own church.

No, it's not true. You knew Jesus before your conscious memory, that's all. You're totally fine, and your friend must go to a church that teaches very narrow theology.
Please don't worry about it and just keep following Jesus.

Every Christian has a Testimony of when they were baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ and received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. This is the sign of a True Christian. The Scriptures tell us this.

Your friend is misinformed. If you believe in Jesus and have Him in your heart, what difference does it make?

No. But IF you think he may be right, then why not make that day today? Just say that this is the day you really and truely decided. Then, you can always remember it.
