120 volt rms is undefined

if sinusoidal then it's peak voltage is 120*1.414 = 169
and peak to peak is 339.4 Volts

Which is higher 1000watt or 2000watt?

120V rms is more than 120V peak-peak (which would be less than 60V rms).

Watts depend on current *and* voltage, but 2,000 would be more than 1,000.
