I look good with the bald look but it hurts like Hell to remove the hair from the back of my head using an elipator. The top and sides do not hurt too badly but the back of my head feels like I am being attacked by fire ants! I like using an epilator because I don't have to shave as often and it looks natural.

Get bactine, the kind with lidocaine or benzocaine in it.
There's an aloe vera solution with lidocaine in it for sunburns.
Ice first.
Canker sore meds--numsit or oragel.
Your dr. can prescribe liquid lidocaine and you can just rub it in. They gave it to me for strep.

I hope this helps!

Man, those epilators hurt! The only thing I can think of is maybe some Neosporin gel that has pain reliever in it? That way it may numb the area a little and protect your scalp from infection at the same time.

ice maybe use an ice bag wrapped in a towel and let sit for awhile or if your really serious, call a plastic surgeons office and ask where you can buy that creme that numbs the skin when having a mole removed. That stuff works great and y0u don't feel a thing. Good Luck
