When a Christian accepts an award, thanks Jesus, and then performs some song with lyrics that I can't even repeat here, isn't that like doing the same thing - saying in essence, "No one had less to do with this than Jesus"?

Not to sound like a prude, but seems we should look inward instead of only condemning Kathy for such blasphemy...

I agree and applaud.

I could go my whole life without hearing someone famous thank God or Jesus and then get half naked and scream about sex, murder, prostitution, and greed.

Pick a side and stick with it I say.

As an atheist, I'm amazed by how egotistical some theists are. How could anyone who believes in a deity possibly think it helped them win an award, or a ball game, etc., at the same time it ignores others dying of hunger or thirst. Try going one day without water (even from food) and you'll get some small inkling of the suffering involved in dying from thirst.
