the brain never stops i'ts activities........it is a control center...the processor of collected conscious data through the five senses
it is also the internal house of the subconscious
and all of it's functions
there are higher faculties ...will/reason/perception/imagination/reason that can be developed...they seem to be latent in man...but once man awakens and tunes his being in conformaty by use of reason[his greatest gift]...he can work with his instinctive urges...rather than conflict them
conflicts are often termed attitudes....surprisingly what is missing here is GRATTITUDE.....and jesus teaching....be-attitudes
brains
have a variety of functions that occure more at different times of day........in certain environments...and what they are introduced too...so they are not limited to intellectuals
a whole part of that system can open up avenues un heard of as we begin to help and then become aware of information stored/collected and processed...my whole understanding is that the brain in man could not have developed without the awakening of hope and faith...faith in the upward progression of life ....all of this occurs because of the intelligent developement from a single cell...to a growing human...i rever this as an awsome desplay that is highly intelligent....because that can build various tissues and the systems to maintain them.
yes ,we see the beauty in a flower...we wonder about creation...but because of our design....we can see the tulip/the daisy/the roses and sunflowers...and we say they are beautiful...we tell others because we want to share experiences..........but these plants have no brains. and cannot know that they are beautiful..yet they are so...only in humanity can the brain convey such and lead to aspiration
because one of the evolving/develope-mantal process that occur.....................francis bacon it was said...after attending all of the learnid institutions of the day...ponderd deeply on knowledge...but your question is at what age...and conveys the idea of stopping ov developement.......i say u and i get a better perspective through.....when and how did it begin?
and if it was your brain that caused you to reach out into the internet...and mine to respond...is that not a developement that was unheard of 50 or a hundred years ago?

I'm not sure but the most important time in a childs life for brain growth is from 0-3 years old, then it slows down.

I have heard, don't know for certain, but I've heard that the brain doesn't reach maturity until 25.

Probably out of one of my women's magazines.
