Apes and humans have common ancestors that weren't apes. We aren't the same as the ancestors, and neither are apes. When bacteria evolve, the new species doesn't replace the old, just takes up a new niche. We can observe that right before our eyes in a lab or hospital. With larger animals like primates, the same thing happens, but over a longer period of time. Our common ancestor might have survived for thousands of years before becoming extinct.

I've seen a lot of people who look like apes.I've seen a lot of people act like apes. But I've never seen a human come from an ape. That evolutionary assumption is old and outdated. There is no way that an ape can become human. Why?Because there are still apes. It's physically and chemically impossible.I don't care how many initials you have at the end of your name.A fish can't turn into a lizard. Why?It's physically and chemically impossible. The laws of nature are here for a reason.

Humans and apes share a common ancestor, think of it like a family: you and your sibling originated from your parents, but they still exist.

ape like animals yes. not the same apes we have today. the apes we have today evolved from the same common ancestor. everything is always evolving, changing.
don't just repeat questions that others with an agenda seem to think are clever. they usually know little of the subject they are talking about. to do so is to risk having their original ignorance attributed to you and your unoriginality.

oy vey.
first of all there are a million examples of species evolving but the originating species still exists. if that didn't happen there would only be one kind of life on earth.
secondly, evolution does NOT say that we evolved from apes. that is such a misconception.
humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor, not one from the other. THAT common ancestor no longer exists.

No, I don't and neither do the scientists that have shown proof of man's evolution through the ages. I believe that we have evolved over the years into what we are now and that we continue to evolve.
Case in point: Most people of European decent who were born and raised in the US are either born without our 3rd molars (wisdom teeth) or need to have them removed later in life because our jaws are too short to support them. However, most East Africans still have jaws long enough to support their 3rd molars and therefore have no need to have them removed because their diet still dictates that they need those extra teeth. People in more "civilized" areas of the world no longer eat the kind of diet our ancestors did and so we are evolving out of the need for those teeth.

They don't teach that we evolved from apes that exist today. We just have a common ancestor. But even if they did, which they DON'T, how do you know it couldn't have been parallel evolution? That has occurred in other species.

Is that the sequence that you had in mind ?Where else does that progression happen in nature ? It does and it doesn't. . Dogs evolved from wolves and both are still in existence .Bony fishes evolved from cartilaginous fishes and both of those are still very much in existence.

of course we evolved from apes, which evolved from fish, which evolved from algae, the geological record shows that, evolution is happening now, always has and always will, it is the way things are. evolution is affected by your environment, apes in africa didnt need to evolve cos life was sweet, its warm and thers nuff food. apes in colder climates and areas with less food had to evolve to stay alive, i.e. making wrapping themselves up warm and figuing out new ways on finding and preserving food.
