Dog food - not on a regular basis. They won't get the nutrients they require (like taurine) and would sicken and probably die.

It's not going to kill them outright. It would just be empty calories for them.

As for treats, I doubt they'd be any more harmful than cat treats. Many treats contain unhealthy ingredients but I don't know that there's anything in dog treats that would harm a cat. The composition might be an issue - a cat may not wish to chew on a rawhide bone for instance.

They can, but I am told that the dog food does not have the nutrients a cat needs. It shouldn't be a problem on occasion, but cats should also get their own formula diet. Be careful of over feeding as well.
