First she has Cain and it says she had intercourse. Then she denies having sex and says that "God did it". Is that where Mary got her idea's.
That is a nowhere excuse. I think the angel that told Mary that holy spirit did it was the culprit. What was his name? It makes more sense that way.

Dear Les B,

i think you are misreading the passage. Eve does not deny having sex (not sure where you are getting that from)-- the Bible clearly states in

Genesis 2:25- And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and wre not ashamed.

Genesis 4:1- Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conveived and bore Cain, and said, "I have gotten a man from the Lord."

Adam knew Eve- he had sex with her.

When she says: I have gotten a man from the Lord- she was simply acknowleding that her child was a gift from God. She wasn't saying that "God did it."

Hope your future reading of the Bible will not result in the twisting of God's words.

Kindly,

Nickster

That's not what it says. Are you delusional! As you can see she had intercourse first and then conceived Cain. When he was born she thanked the Lord for his help! Get it right please! :o)

Genesis 4:1
1 Adam lay with his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, "With the help of the LORD I have brought forth a man."

I don't get it. Your question doesn't make sense. Gen. 4:1and Adam knew (knew means have intercourse) Eve as his wife, and she became pregnant and bore Cain; and she said, I have gotten and gained a man with the help of the Lord. The Lord is the author of life; nothing is created that isn't created by Him, and Eve was acknowledging that.

I think you are confused. Read it again.

Now the man had relations with his wife Eve, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain, and she said, "I have gotten a manchild with the help of the LORD."

there's a huge distinction between 2d hand and wiped out. a clean vehicle, to apply your metaphor, could have some reward. yet a until eventually now used vehicle that remains working properly and would not have unfastened tyres gets the activity carried out too.

You know. The best argument to Jesus not being the son of god, involves this line of thinking.

Man "hey sweetie....why are you puking..... and i just realized your stomach has been getting really big...."

Woman- *gag*.ah..... um.... it....was..... GOD, yeah thats it..... He sent...something.... an.... an ANGEL, exactly. and I am pregneant with god's child...

I like to call it the "Good excuse" theory. It's all theory but.... if you have been cheating on your husband..... God is a good way to point your finger.

Im not saying it DID happen that way. just that thats a popular theory.

Eve was merely acknowledging the procreative powers give to her by The Creator.

Either that or the holy spirit really gets around.
