Too late, I'm afraid. You have to apply for work permits outside the country. You could go to New Zealand and apply from there. You could always ask the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, they are in the Government section of the phone book, but I wouldn't hold out much hope but you never know, we might be in desperate need of your particular skills.
