My beautiful Blue fronted amazon "Montana" died suddenly, on 8/30/07, she was only 10 years young & my husband & I can't seem to cope with losing her. We would like to find a poem/tribute, that we can frame with her picture, any suggestions, please?

Montana blue
A Blue so bright
You shined each day
from morn till night
Your silly antics,
your loving ways
You made the most of all our days
From this time on
though we may search to find another pearl
Not a treasure will ere compare to you
our little girl
the sweetest little girl

I'll see if I can't write one up for you... however, I don't know your parrot so it will be rather hard. You may have to write the euligaic poem yourself as you knew the bird best.

But www.poets.org and poetry.com may have something.
