I do not worship any god, or anything.
The FSM was created as a direct response to ID. It showed that any stupid creation idea had the same merit as the NEC's stupid creation idea, and that what the ID supporters really wanted was Christian Creationism.
Since then it has gone on as a joke. Something that is obviously ridiculous, but at the same time just as valid as Christianity.
As far as I know the only FSM place of worship is a Lego model.
Sorry that you can not understand the humor.

Christians are constantly whining about how they are "mocked." The FSM originated months ago -- before Community Moderation -- when Fundies and atheists were really slugging it out here in R&S. It was actually a clever insult that developed a life of its own, like the drinking game, and has become a bit of an R&S tradition. It's satire, Sweetheart. Nobody's seriously worshiping a levitating ball of pasta. I don't know about the IUP.
Edit: Oh, it's IPU, which stands for Invisible Pink Unicorn. May her sacred hooves bless your path in life. More R&S satire -- from before the FSM.

The IUP (you mean IPU for Invisible Pink Unicorn) and the FSM are intended to illustrate how silly we think your fabricated god is. Just because it was fabricated a few thousand years ago to keep people in line doesn't make it any more real than the IUP and the FSM.
We don't worship these beings. We use them to mock other religious icons for the fakes they are.

Well, I'd rather have my own imaginary god than someone else's imaginary god. Their gods do strange things like send you wandering through the desert for 40 years, give you magically disappearing gold plates, and kill themselves before they can forgive people of the slightest transgressions. One I would create wouldn't have those problems. I wouldn't create it for worship, as I'd already know it wasn't real. Mine would be a personal one that I could use if I ever ran for public office. I could say I believed in god's goodness and whatnot, and christians would assume I was talking about their god. The fact that it isn't would be my little secret.

You don't understand why the FSM was invented. It was invented to battle Intelligent Design in the classroom as if Genesis was taught in Science the FSM must be taught as well.
The IPU was before my time, but as with the FSM it was created to show the implausibility and stupidity of religion, if you can't see that then please leave and never come back.

We invented that stuff as a joke. Why did the Christians create their god?

We're just trying to get you to see how silly all these gods are. Believe it or not the Christian god looks as silly to atheists as FSM does to you.

We don't seriously worship - it's called a parody to annoy the heck out of you theists.
We don't cry out for help to a being we find imaginary. GET YOUR HEAD AROUND THAT FACT.
We aren't rebelling - we're being truthful to ourselves about reality.

It's apparent you don't know the definition of satire. I don't "rebel" or throw temper tantrums, or hold my hands to my ears to drown out "his love", as much y'all like to think that. I don't believe in a God. Simple. That's it. Do I want to? No, kinda why I'm an Atheist in the first place.
