It could cost anywhere from 40 + dollars for each shot, 250 + for the spay/neuter ect....
You have to remember deworming, food, toys, training (for some people)

It will vary depending on where you go for vet care.. If you can find a low-cost clinic that would be your best bet. .However, most are in the city in bad area and are on a walk-in basis so you have to take your pet and wait for someone to see you. Which can take hours.. Depending on the size/breed of dog will depend on spay/nueter.. I say the sooner the better.. Since the puppy will be small it would probably be about $100-$150 unless you go low-cost spay/nueter clinic... If you really want a puppy you should probably be saving about a $100 a month for his/her care and any emergency expenses... If you can't do that it might be a good idea to NOT get a puppy...

If you have a PetsMart around you they have the vets in there called Banfield. If you go to their website and check out their "Wellness Programs" it is a GREAT DEAL!! I called the 1-800 number on the website to enroll. It is normally $99.95 to enroll...but the knocked it down to $49.95. Then it is about $21-$22 per month for 1 year (they take it off your debt card 1x per month.). This includes ALL OFFICE VISITS, a comprehensive physical, all vaccines/worming and the spay or neuter. If your dog does have a problem and needs any tests or services NOT included you generally get 10% off. They treat the animals like they are family and I am 100% satisfied with them.
Here is the website: www.banfield.net

depends on your area ad how big the puppy is, puppy SHOULD have had its shots at 6, 8 and 10 weeks of age, and rabies at 16 weeks, spay should eb done at 6 months...

round here a spay ranges from $100 (low cost clinic) to $300 for an average sized dog (10-25lbs) bigger dogs cost more, smaller less...
shots again dpednd on your vet, expect around $40 a vist and you need 3 rounds, rabies is uslaly $28 round here, howveer there are low cost vacination clinics you can go to too!

it depends upon the area of the USA you live in and the vet.... i had my dog spayed at 2 yrs old..she was due for shots at the time so i told the vet to go ahead with the shots, too. the bill was $280, she is a 70 lb dog.

every month during flea season it's $18 for flea drops (advantage) and she gets seasonal heartworm treatment.

my last vet bill for shots and nail trimming was $168. that was in June.... she goes every year.

it's expensive, so you have to budget for yearly vet bills, that's for sure. oh and some areas offer "vaccination" clinics (pet stores, and humane societies do this sometimes). also, sometimes you can get help with spaying if you talk to animal welfare societies.. or ask the vet.

take care.

It will cost close to $100 depending on where you live to have your pet spayed. Shots will be at least $15.00 for each series. It will need more than one time for the initial go around. Then just once a year.

that would depend on where you live and the amount they charge..we recently got a puppy and her first visit and shots cost us 45 dollars..she returns to the vet for the next few months for her next series of shots..and de-wormers..you can usually expect to spend about 500 a year I would say on vet , shots and frontline for fleas and ticks and heart guard..Not to mention food..But i know in big cities they charge more..So call around and ask each vet about it..

really, you need to call local vets......prices vary SO much around the world!

do your own research.....make a list of things you need, call around, go to a pet shop and find out!
