most motor bike engines will not have the power necessary to power a helicopter. its all about power to weight ratio.

motorbike engines are not designed to put out their full rated power for long periods of time - like you'd need with a helicopter.

a rotax 582 motor would be a good place to start.

but helll why dont you just buy a gyrocopter kit from Air Command. - you'll have it built in a weekend.

The design requirements for a motorbike and a helicopter conflict with each other, so there is very little in a motorbike that you could use in building a helicopter or an autogyro (gyrocopter).

But don't give up. There are ways to accomplish flight working from scratch. Good luck!

I gotta say, I like your imagination. Just be careful where it takes you. But don't let anything hold you back.
