How can I over come the fear of asking out the women I'm attracted to?

I've always had that fear. Instead of asking out the women that I find attractive, I wait until I know a women is attracted to me, and ask them out.
I do know most of it is the thought of being rejected. I'm usually quick witted and fun, but get tounge tied and quiet when it comes to the women I would like to take out

I feel so bad for you because I think everyone knos what that feels like but most deff I always find out like 2 yrs after the fact that a guy wanted to ask me out or whatever and I didn't find out because they never told me so I mean WONDERS can happen if you initiate and they kno that you actuallyy like them cause that's how me and my friends we don't kno that a guy ever likes us so jus tell her honestly I kno it's awkward/hard but you'll never get anywhere if you don't and if she doesn't like you there are a million OTHER girls out there.

You are just putting them in pedestals like goddesses or something like that.
The way you get them out of the pedestal is visualizing them doing something very mundane and human like for example, taking a dump. That will make them equally human in your eyes and you won't have any trouble asking them out again.
