Make sure your bf has your address and phone number before he goes. He will not get this address until he is there for a week or too. At that time he may or may not have a chance to call you. Letters will most likely be your only communication for a while. He may or may not get phone priviledges over the course of training. Also, FYI, there are restrictions to what you can send him... no food, cookies, candy, alcohol, dirty pictures. They will just be taken away. Stick to letters, cards, pictures. Send them as often as you can, but don't get upset if you only get a letter back every week or so... he will be really busy. Best of luck to you!

Give him your address and when he gets there he can write and give you his address. I was in the military that is how I know. Also don't expect a lot of letters from him. He won't have much time on his hands. Phone calls are a privilege. If someone in the battalion screws up, one of the first things they take away is phone calls. Good luck .

You need to make sure your BF has your address and stamps. Things change in the military. You will really need to get this address from your BF or your BF's family.
If you know what unit he is in then you can usually get it through them. Try Post he is stationed at. The Unit Chaplin is another way to find it.
Good Luck!

Make sure he has your address written down on a slip of paper that he can keep in his wallet when he goes. He'll have to write you and give you the return address because he won't know it until he gets there.

I would think he'd tell you what his mailing address will be. Just ask him to do that as soon as he knows. He can call you if you to give it to you or write you,. He can't very well write you if he doesn't know your address, but I would think he'd know it. Can't hurt to be sure he's got it right.
