Everyone in my family always has a great tan almost all year round, and I used to too. Than over the past few years my face has gotten naturally red all over and whenever i go into the sun I dont get any color at all. My body can still tan decently but my face is always pale and red. Can anybody tell me why this might be happening, and anything I can do to get my old skin back?

your body goes through chemical changes your whole life. This accounts for why when you are a kid you like a certain food, but when you are an adult you can't stand it anymore (and vice versa). The skin on your face is going through a change, however i would also look into any products you are using. It could be that what you are using is too harsh and washing away oils and other things your skin uses to protect itself. Its possible as well that if you use warm water to wash your face, the water is too hot and you don't know it. Which can irritate the top of the skin causing it to be more sensitive. You may also want to look into a skin condition called Rosachia (i don't know how to spell it.) Try keeping your face out of the sun for a while, change your facial cleanser, use cooler water, and if that doesn't work I would go see a dermamtologist about it.

you need to objective a twig tan that isn't injury your dermis, or if thats not on your funds attempt Aveeno non-end radiance tanning lotion, it works over evening for a good darkish tan, you are able to set the bottle to diverse settings. As for why that got here approximately, i might say that in step with possibility you used to stay out longer and in step with possibility now you have been using extra advantageous SPF of lotion. It does seem as though once you're little you tan much less complicated, so do exactly it in many circumstances, yet to decrease your threat of dermis maximum cancers, do not lay out without sunlight tan lotion!!! :P

It sounds like you might be suffering from Rosacea. You need to been seen by a doctor. A doctor of course is not going to be happy in regard to tanning. But Rosacea can be treated...

Different foods can trigger the condition as can exercise and the sun.

i dont know..maybe its a genetic thing from like your great grand parents or something, things like that sometimes skips generations, but why is everyone so obsessed with getting tan these days? Most of them end up with skin cancer anyways. I say to hell with tan! Fair skinned people are cooler 8)
