Just need a rough idea, they say it needs doing in the bay window to the lounge two walls in the dining room, under the stairs on the party wall and on one kitchen wall.

If you plan to buy a house that already has damp problems then you will also have black mold problems and that is deadly. Damp is the attractor for mold and black mold it the biggest one it attracts. I suggest that if you still want this house that you make sure that the seller fixes all the dampness and any milldew or mold problems. I would definitely get an appraiser to come and tell you what long term problems will arise for you if you purchase it. If that many places are in need of ridding of a damp problem then I'll bet there is already black mold in between the walls. It is illeagle to sell a house with black mold in it in most states since it is a human killer. Get it checked out first. That is too many places that need an uplift from moisture. I'll bet it floods in the basement in the winter and spring too.
