I'm a convinced Atheist Moon and as such my religious beliefs
don't enter into it.( for I have none )
But I consider gratefulness an essential part of being human. it transcends religion and is an uplifting quality in every human being.
So if you are grateful and thankful to your friends for helping and
supporting you, then we are equally grateful and thankful for being able to do so, or even being allowed to do so.
And if the Gods aren't happy about it ?, so what !.

I think that being GRATEFUL is the best part of anyone's day. It lets us know that there are as many if not more good things in this life than there are bad. And there are some days when you really need to remember that. Some days it makes someones day when they are told thank you for something that they have done to help someone especially if they have forgotten that they did it. So THANK YOU for your thank you it's made my day!

I should hope not. It is a part of me to be grateful. Moon, I would help you a thousand times over. You are special and I am grateful for getting the chance to have you in my life.
Sometimes, things that seem bad happen for a reason. Don't you think?
Have a great day New Moon. You're still Moon to me. : )

On the contrary, that's one of the greatest teachings I've learned from my faith...being GRATEFUL as we receive. Yet for one who seeks and waits to be thanked for a good thing he's done, doesn't really understand the gift of genuine giving which is - not to expect in return.

Being grateful is against NO ONE'S beliefs, not even atheists. Being grateful is just a part of life. Being willing to express appreciation for the GOOD things in one's life has NOTHING to do with one's religion or with one's spirituality. it has to do with one being a normal human being.

If I am not grateful, I am not looking close enough at my many blessings. Gratitude is great for my God! He loves a grateful heart.

It's always a fun surprise when I can be gratefull... so often we overlook even the most mundane things that we need to be grateful for...like toilets.
