If you double the amount of batter, you will also need to double the volume of cake pans. So, a recipe that would ordinarily use one square 8 inch pan will use two pans of the same size. You can't just pile the batter deeper in the pan or the cake will never bake through. Here's an analogy. Let's say you are 5'3" and weigh 135 pounds. Your brother is 6'2" and weight 275 pounds. Even though he is clearly much larger than you, if each of you go to a tanning salon, you still can only tan for 10 minutes each.

You'll need to switch them around in the oven. If you're using 2 oven shelves, you should also switch the top ones to the bottom and bottom ones to the top shelf half way through the cooking. Also bring the back ones to the front. It's kind of a pain in the a r s e. I'd just make the recipe twice and do 6 each time to save the hassle. But if you insist, or don't have to time for twice... switch things around as I suggested

You should only use the time as a guide line, there are always ways to see if you product is done. If you know you oven well enough then you can go by the time, but every oven has hot spots. The baking time could differ if you put the product on different shelves. So...it would take a little longer because the heat is distributed to more, but always check you product.

NO, all you have to do is cook six a time, for she same time as the recipe said, however, if you want to cook all 12 at once, just cook 6 per pan, or whatever the recipe calls for.

Don't double the cooking time you will burn them, check on them from time to time and increase the cooking time as needed but don't do it all at once.

As long as there is enough room around each cheesecake you should be fine.

No, only if you were increasing or doubling the size, not the number of them.

They should be fine. This should only change time in the microwave.
