what does this update do?

my ps3 said updated needed and it says 1.93 so its out now

It is used to help people with bad internet connections so ur internet wont keep disconnecting and having errors all the time.

I downloaded the 1.93 update last night, but I'm not sure what it does though. The playstation website doesn't have the new update data yet, but maybe in a few days it will. But, I think that the 1.93 update was supposed to fix the problems with people getting disconnected from the Playstation Network.

1.93 update only fixes d bugs from the last update.

Right now I'd checked an official PS3 site. They have nothing like that. The latest one is 1.92.
Sorry - today I turned on my PS3 and had to update it too. Nothing on website, though...

sounds like 1.93 is supposed to fix the connection bugs we've been facing recently, but I cannot even log in to download??? HELP!!!

After the 1.92 ver update ppl had problems signing into the psn.Now this update solves all those prbs...Specially internet related prbs...Cheers
