My car was designed and created, does that mean our world must be?

After all, my car and this world share a lot in common: Things often break down, it is energy-inefficient, it often requires prayer to make it operate, has a ton of legacy parts that don't make much sense, and the system will eventually crash or die.

They both show evidence of being created/built by an unintelligent designer.

Inefficiency is only determined by it's ability to achieve a certain end. You are implying the world has an end purpose by claiming it is inefficient. What is this purpose? Purpose implies intended function. I would reword the question as you are already down the path you reject.

Yes, Why is designed in this way? There is a good reason for that. To realize that this world is not a permanent place to live and we must get out here.
If you become enlightened, then you must know that this material world is not for our habitation. We must go back to home, back to Godhead. This is not your home. Don't try to be happy here. People are thinking that "Materially, if we make some arrangement..." Some of them are trying to be happy by scientific improvement or some of them are trying to go to the heavenly planet, and some of them are trying to become this, that, but they do not know that real happiness is to go back to home, back to Godhead.
So unless one becomes detestful of this material world, it is to be understood that he has not yet entered in the spiritual understanding.
