So the place we have will provide centerpieces, I still want to name the tables different places we have been and put pictures there of us at that place like Maine. Should I laminate and just set them on the table, like a postcard, should I frame them. or just display them somehow?

I like the frame idea. Or if you can get one of those frames that is also a placecard holder that is big enough for the post-card sized name that would be neat, too.

Small easels would work, but depending upon the centerpieces that are being provided why not have them incirporated right in to them. For example you could get the plastic sticks that florists use for arrangements to include the card on, or you could use long wooden flat sticks and glue the pictures to it - and put 3 or so in the arrangement itself.

personally i would frame them... put them somewhere on the table that everyone can see it and that find a frame that matches the centerpieces in some way or another... i think that would look really nice

Here is an idea.....buy cheap frames (whether cardboard or wooden craft frames) and glue on some "souvenirs". For example if you went to a beach...glue on some shells on the frame...if you went t a lobster house for dining...glue on fake little lobsters...just little trinkets like that will personalize your table placements a little more. Congratulations!!!!

Maybe you can put a diffrent picture at each place setting, and the guest can pass them around. You could do it in such a way, that the guest could keep them.
You could mount them on the front of 'thank you for sharing our special day' cards (hinged at the top) and stand them in front of the place settings.

How about an album. The best shots that can be enlarged later can be framed and put on the wall.

what a fun idea! i like the idea of putting the pictures in frames. you can decorate each frame or picture with scrapbook type stuff that has to do with that place.

i.e. maine....little lobsters!
