That bumper sticker annoys me. It goes without saying that if I slammed my truck through the rear of their car, they would call the authorities to quickly mediate the matter.

I doubt they question the epistemic authority of skepticism as a method of discovering truths?

It is our responsibility to question authority while respecting it at the same time.
I respect the office of the president and the person that is filling it, but I also question the decisions that they make.
I question if Law enforcement officials are spending our tax dollars effectively, but I respect them and their job.

Everyone should question authority. Everyone should question everything. Everyone should question themselves. It is by asking questions that we learn things.
That doesn't mean we can't use the authorities, in this case the police, for the jobs they are intended to do. It just means that the words of someone in a position if "authority" should not just be taken blindly. That means that we shouldn't accept anything just because the president said so, or just because your priest said so, or even just because the Bible claims your god said so. Always, always, always question.

I question myself all the time, so yes, I question those who question authority.

Those who question authority then, are really challenging God's authority.

I love that sticker, every time I see one I laugh, because they might as well have a sticker on their car, that says, 'Pull me over, officer, I'm an @sshole, and don't respect your Job"
