I brought my little girl to the store and let here pick out her own "big" girl panties!!! She enjoyed that, but I told her if she wet or pooped in them I would throw them away. I only had to throw one pair away because she really liked her "big" girl panties!!! So maybe try that...she should enjoy getting to decide which panties she wants!!! Good luck!

boys are harder to potty train then girls! i have 2 boys, and i am pregnant with my third baby right now! my oldest son is almost 3 and he is potty trained and has been for awhile! but i just one day took the diapers completely away from him! told him no more diapers! i wasnt being mean, he was showing interest long before i did that the reason i took the diapers away was because when i thought he was ready all of a sudden he didnt want to use the potty! so i took diapers away! after tat he made 1 or 2 accident a day for like a week, then one day no accidents since then! i gave him 1 gummy bear for peeing and 2 for pooping! i also did a sticker chart for him! he really enjoyed t putting the stickers on the chart! but most boys dont even show interest until they are 3 to 3 1/2! and pull ups are a bad idea(my personal choice) to the kids they are like diapers, so the will potty in them! well my son did! when i asked him why he was peeing and pooping in them he told me they were diapers! well i hope everything goes good for you! i would try a sticker chart! well congrats on the new baby coming! GOOD LUCK!

this is always difficult, try and get her some girly knickers and explain that she is a big girl now and nappies are for babies.
sure you will have a few accidents, but she will get used to it.
my step daughter, now 4, hated the potty, but we just left it out and got her to wear knickers, then all of a sudden she said she wanted to go loo and used the potty without any help from us.
overall, leave the potty lying around, get her some knickers and see how she goes.
obviously let her wear a nappy when out because you dont want an accident in public at least until she has got he hang of holding on to it.

How about letting her do poos in nappy for a while and just focus on the wees in the potty.I had a mate who did this and though it took longer for her little girl fully out of nappies than my son , she had less wee accidents. You for the first week have to tell her sit on potty, you'll know the signs or usual time she likes to go and after a while she'll do it for herself. It took me 2 months for my little boy to be dry.(day and night)

Kids are funny and are difficlut sometimes. I would refuse the nappie though. Make her wear the underoos. She will not like to be wet or full of poo. IT will be frustrating on your part.. and even if she threatens to HOLD it.. .she cant possibliy hold it forever. And soiling herself in a public place.. will not be fun for her.. Eventually ... she will get it.. Its funny but think of it like training a puppy. They do go on the floor in the house sometimes... but eventually they will get it. STay with the stickers... but crap... let her sit in wetness... its is very unpleasant! WARNING: you will go thru alot of undies... buy some from goodwil or get some from a friend or family member that has a child who outgrew them... your gonna toss them when its allover anyway! Then the treat will be to go buy some "pretty" underoos!

first off she is the adult here and you are the child take control of her now. get rid of the diapers, no nappy around she will either pee on her self or use the potty.
put her in panties and take her to the loo once an hour every hour and make her sit for several minutes if she goes praise her if not try again in a little while.
when she has an accident dont rush to change her leaver her wet for several minutes, then make her change her clothes, dont do it for her

I have just toilet trained my 3 yr old. i did it by saying for him to tell me when he wanted to go.
I told him that he was going to be a big boy now and he is going to be wearing big boys pants.
I have always struggled and got stressed about it.
I just decided not to put on any pull up pants on him and took him out in the car whilst on holiday.
Luckily he told me when he needed to go and wee up the car wheel!
When he wants a poo, i say that he can wave bye to it and flush it away, spray the air freshener (supervised, of course!)
and use mummy's special soap to wash his hands.
he's been dry for 7 weeks now.
Even at night!
You could buy some disney princess pants and tell your little one that she can't wet the princesses!
Always give a huge applause when she goes on the toilet, make a big deal of it - kids love praise.
Good luck!

Try a different reward system. For a pee I gave a 1/2 a worm candy...when we got to doing a poo in the toilet...I used toys. I bought little dollar toys, and everytime he did the poo inteh toilet he got a toy. Try putting her in underpants...keep telling her that she is a big girl.

Think you will just have to put her in knickers and let her get on with it. Of course there will be accidents but she will soon get the idea. Letting her get her own way is just making trouble for your self in the long run. Stick to your guns and she will soon get the idea. Letting her choose her own knickers will probably help to. Good luck.xxx
