My favorite type of art would have to be photography. I like Walker Evans.

I am always torn I work in many mediums..photo, metal painting, collage, print, video......
I would have to say it is based on the work and if it grabs me

Mine is a little long.... I love all form of art but, If I had to pick a painter it would be Caravaggio...There are many others I love (including sculptors) I'm not really into the baroque style but he stands out...he influences a lot of things, including films. He was the true beginning of modern art. He had a crazy and short life. He could paint really fast, not take months (prob. cause he was always running away) like others. I love, love, love, his use of light and shadow.

Paint. Particularly the pointillists. Georges Seurat's "Sunday Afternoon at La Grande Jatte" is my all-time favorite work.

I love, love, LOVE abstract art. Anything with color and texture to it....where you're just drawn to a canvas and want to touch it.
Thats the kind of art I like, because it can be anything you want it to be.
