I'm not sure I agree with the conclusion.

Yes, it is a matter of knowing and addressing what is important before it becomes a crisis, but a number of "successful" people are those who are unable to distinguish what is important from what is not, but handle crisis well. Sometimes they get famous for it, and sometimes promoted.

Yes, some people are successful because they prevent crisis, but the really famous ones are those who don't, but address them well.
