No -- brown is a color common to many breeds.

Well chocolate is just a color not a breed in itself. You can have yellow, chocolate or black colors in labs. If your dog is 1/2 lab and it's brown/chocolate color then it is still a lab x breed that is chocolate brown. It is not a pb dog, the color has nothing to do with that it's just a color. So you have a 1/2 lab that is brown. Hope that helped, got a little confusing.

I can guarantee they can be 1/2 lab--our dog is 1/2 lab and 1/2 Weimeraner, and she has a beautiful chocolate coat. We're lucky--she's gotten the best of both breeds.

Chocolate is just the name for the color of a deep brown. It's possible for any dog with that color in their line to be that color.

of course not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if its mixed breed then you cant say its a chocolate lab....but you can say that it is half chocolate lab and half(whatever it is)...and even if the dog is "chocolate" colored its not considered a chocolate lab.i hope i made myself clear..but i didn't understand your question fully...hope i helped!
