I've tried having relationships but they never work out but it's not me cuz I am devoted to being a good BF(maybe too much, idk) I feel I am destined to be alone and to just stick to one night stands. Any opinions welcome....

I would never ever have a one night stand because I think sex is part of a relationship with someone you have feelings for. (I'm not judging you at all by the way). You say you are being a devoted boyfriend but are you actually giving these women what they really need? It could be that what you think is good is not what these women want. Before you seriously date anyone find out as much as you can about them first before getting into a relationship. Ask lots of questions about where their exes went wrong and get to know them first. Lots of people jump straight into a relationship thats purely based on physical attraction and down the line they find out they are incompatible. I don't think one night stands will make you happy in the long term. Don't give up searching.

I don't think its so much that girls prefer one night stands at all but I think it is men who are looking to have casual relationships rather than settle and comitt to a longer term relationship and due to this girls sturggle to find decent men who want long term - therefore some are willing to settle for one night stands. I think this really is a matter of preference and is up to theindividual. Some people vcan't deal with the feelings after a one night stand and feel used and rejected however if you are consenting and happy to go with it and practice sfae sex then I dont see the harm. Although I would say I prefer long term - sex is far better once you know each other and what each other likes!!

I find one night stands so much easier (as I'm sure most people do) but I've just got out of a marriage so i guess I'm not really looking for anything too serious at the mo. Saying that I have been dating a guy for a couple of weeks, and it's been so much nicer to 'be' with the same person more then once, cos we're starting to learn what the other one really likes and that's really fun. One night stands are simply about self gratification, which is cool, but sometimes the emotional attachment makes it so much better.

I feel guilty after a one night stand , rather have a relationship all relationships don't work out but at least you tried..Plus girls love to talk and the one girl you don't really know yet that might be the perfect relationship girl hears you did one night stands she will label you a pig or player and won't want anything to do with you no matter how good looking or nice you are..

Don't worry maybe you have being hanging out with wrong type of girls. I am sure there is a woman around there somewhere.
Believe me I never had a real boyfriend till I turned 20.
One night stands are okay, but is not the same than having sex with someone you feel super comfortable with, he knows what you like most, and you both know how to please each other better than anybody else!!

I find one night stands pointless. Hooking up with a random person can end very badly. I think it's just easier to find someone that has an equal physical attraction in you and form a "Sex Buddy" type of relationship with them. Basically a friends with benefits. That just makes more sense to me and it's a lot safer.

I prefer a relationship because there's more stability and security, if you know in what relationship you're in. If not, then it doesn't make sense to be in a relationship because you can't trust the person and you can always get an STD from your partner or a night stand. YACK!

I prefer a relationship...be/c you want that feeling that you have that other person w/you through good times & bad...
vs.
1 night stand...you don't care for that person...you just want to get that piece of *** & be on with life...
I recommend the relationship...trust me, she's out there for ya...stop searching, have her come to you!

i have the same problem. women dont like a good boyfriend, he gets stuffed into the friend box.
they are only happy when being cheated on and hurt.
the good news is, since i stopped trying to get a girlfriend, and switched to just using them for sex, i have gotten a lot more action. women love me now.
im 47 and i got a 20 year old. i work with her, didnt even have to date her first.
now im working on her 19 year old friend.
i will give it all up for one woman who wont cheat on me, but i do not believe such a woman exists.

I prefer a relationship. One nighters are alright but I you receive some much more from a relationship that you don't get in a nsa type relationship.
