I think some people get so hung up about his deity or lack of it that they completely miss the message because they are too busy trying to prove the point.

Jesus Himself stated there may be fake christs, and the Apostle Paul noted "yet another Jesus". Many have faith it incredibly is the "one in all 3 persons Jesus" further in third & 4th century "trinity" gobbledygook. We discovered from Jesus that he's "the way, the reality, and the existence .. no-one is composed of the daddy different than by way of Him (Jesus)... so it could in straightforward terms be for the duration of the actual Jesus - not a replace. Jesus Himself made it completely sparkling he's divine... John 8:fifty 8 / John 10:30 / John 12:40 4-40 5 further texts exhibiting Jesus' divinity :~ Isaiah 9:6 / Isaiah fifty two:6 / a million Timothy 3:sixteen / 2 Corinthians 5:19 Colossians 2:9 / Hebrews a million:a million-3 / Ephesians 4:4-6 & 5:20 In John 14:6-9 He stated :~ "He who has seen Me has seen the daddy .." In John 8:24 He stated :~ "in case you do not have faith that i'm He, you will die on your sins"

Yes I think that if people weren't so concerned about his divinity then more people would listen to the word & ideas he was trying to preach. A lot of people can agree with what he is preaching but once you get into if he was God on Earth or the son of God or whatever. Or how so many people think he was a prophet, if we just lived by what his teachings were the world would be a better place.

The teachings OF Jesus, as opposed to a religion ABOUT Jesus, are what magnetically attract people in spite of whether they decide He was divine Deity or not. His teachings were and are still the most profound especially when it came to loving one another the way He loves us. I think people choose to get hung up and make a mistake when they reject all of it just because they don't understand part of it. It seems to me better to embrace all that is good and true.
Every person must come to peace in their inner lives with what philosophies, religious beliefs and moral codes they want to live their lives by. Everyone makes decisions on a daily basis whether to practice these principles or not, to be good or not, to be a truth seeker and truth lover or not. By the end of life if they do that, I suspect, they'd be living the teachings of Jesus and might not even know it.

Christianity = Religion created by Paul of Tarsus.
The message of Jesus was for the Jews but Paul made a "gentile" version and added pagan ideas to make it attractive.

No, why would anyone follow a person who wasn't the true presence of God, without question? The humanity of Jesus Christ was necesary for our own sake, not His, and His divinity was His only.
There is no Christ if there is no fully human, fully divine nature of who He is.
So the answer is no, His divinity is necesary, just as His humanity is as well.

It isn't necessary to believe that Jesus was the Son of God to understand and follow his teachings. They were valid lessons for all of us to strive to follow. Many other religons admire his teachings. They were filled with ideas for peacefully living together.

There is no question about his divinity, there is no such thing.
He is a fictional character in a book of bronze age mythology.
Nothing more.
