Regardless of my personal beliefs, it is true that you shouldn't judge people. No one knows what someone else has been through. What everyone needs is kindness.

Can you truly say that God does not judge a man until he dies? St. Paul says "If you receive unworthily then you are bringing judgement down upon yourself" and you're not dead then.

Throughout the Bible it shows God's wrath towards his people because of what they have done, it was his judgement to decimate cities and they weren't dead either. So I can't really say that God doesn't judge a man until he dies because that gives people reason to do whatever they want to for their entire lives until they're almost dead.

Then they can repent and 'poof!' nothing matters, right?

I don't believe people should judge others but that doesn't mean God doesn't judge you throughout your life. I think the Bible shows that he does, he doesn't wait until you've died.

God is the only one who can judge a man's heart. People who judge others are sinners just like the ones they judge. Keep you focus on Jesus and there is no need for judging anyone!!!

Question: "What does the Bible mean that we are not to judge others?"

Answer: It seems that whenever one person confronts another person over an issue, the statement "Do not judge!" comes up. Christians are often accused of "judging" in contradiction to what the Bible says whenever they speak out against a sinful activity. However, that is not the meaning of the Scripture verses which state, "Do not judge." When Jesus told us not to judge (Matthew 7:1), He was telling us not to judge hypocritically. Matthew 7:2-5 declares, "For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, Let me take the speck out of your eye when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

In Matthew 7:2-5, Jesus warns against judging someone else for their sin when you yourself are sinning even worse. That is the kind of judging Jesus commanded us not to do. If a believer sees another believer sinning, it is their Christian duty to lovingly and respectfully confront the person with their sin (Matthew 18:15-17). This is not judging, but rather pointing out the truth in hope of bringing repentance in the other person (James 5:20). We are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). We are to proclaim what God's Word says about sin. 2 Timothy 4:2 instructs us, "Preach the Word ; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage — with great patience and careful instruction." We are to "judge" sin, but always with the goal of presenting the solution for sin and its consequences - the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

Judging the man is one thing, judging the mans actions is another. You can not claim to be one thing, all the while doing the exact opposite.

Cause I don't have the luxury of waiting until a person is dead to judge them like God does. Plain and simple there are people whom mean to do you harm in this world. There are people whom want to topple our society as it. Some people plain and simple are evil and no damn good. So I will judge them and act according and pray that God forgives my human frailties

Good advice for US ALL, don't you think? Just because someone is an atheist, they have the right to judge? And sometimes we all just give a call of personal observation; to judge means I sentence you to something, which I will not do. I can tell you what God says; but it is all up to Him, not us, to decide where we each 'go'. Let's all remember the Golden Rule; you cannot fail.

Tries to make the point that we should not judge "a man"
Somehow to me, it seems lacking a little something. Not bad, but it needs something.

The Bible says we are to judge by the scriptures. To falsely judge is to condemn someone on your opinion or for doing something that you do yourself secretly.

I think it's a good thought. Many people are overly critical of their fellow man. Most of us could probably improve in that area. But, there are people who we judge harshly for good reason... those who rob, rape, and kill.
