So i am going to homecoming with this boy and i just got braces yesterday. Homecoming is this saturday and i want to be able to have a confident smile. I can't do a closed mouth smile because it looks bumpy. And then there is this whole subject of kissing with braces? How do you go about it? Can he really get stuck in them? Thanks guys!

There's nothing wrong with a full smile when you have braces! I think they look cute! I loved my braces when I had them! Just go to homecoming and when it comes time for the pictures, flash your smile like you don't have braces. You'll be guaranteed to love the pics.
As for kissing, your teeth shouldn't be involved in that process, LOL! Now, I have heard of couples who have gotten locked together while kissing because both of them had braces. Just be careful if he has braces too.

Well- if he's not your bf, you can avoid kissing him and avoid looking easy at the same time.
Don't hide your smile- that looks awful. Besides, braces aren't that big of a deal anymore- be proud that your parents love you enough to spend that kind of money on your teeth. Many people don't even get the choice of braces (like me).
Be proud of who you are no matter what. Braces are such a small part of who you are - and temporary at that!

Flip the situation around. Tell him you just got braces and you selected him to be the first person to try them out.

i had braces, i just got them off 2 weeks ago. don't worry about smiling you'll look fine. call me weird, but i liked my smile with braces.haha. i'm sure you can still kiss him, just be careful!

He can only get stuck inthem if he has them also, and that is rare.
