my roommate accidentally put my yogurt in the freezer....thought it was ice cream. is it still good? or garbage?

I think it would probably still be good, but might be a bit watery from being frozen, as the ice crystals melt when it thaws out. Actually, frozen yogurt, the kind that so closely resembles ice cream, is made by a different process than just putting a container of yogurt in the freezer. It is used with other ingredients, and either whipped, or has some other method of incorporating air into it, to give it the smooth and creamy texture of ice cream. It's still good to eat. When I was young, I used to put yogurt cups in the freezer overnight and bring them for lunch at school. By the time I was ready to eat lunch, it would have thawed perfectly. It is not the same as the frozen yogurt you might get at an ice cream shop, which has a lot of air blended into it to make it soft and smooth.

Frozen yogurt is meant to be exchange ice creams, so it may probably have extra sugar and fat. circulate to the food market and learn the aspects and energy. attempt familiar yogurt, many times they have not have been given any fat and are made for dieters. :]

It should be fine if it was recently frozen, but in no way is it the same as the frozen yougart you buy. There is a completely different method to creating frozen yougart.
