I'm looking for a water bubbler that produces oxygenating bubbles to keep water fresh and help prevent bacterial growth. Can anyone recommend a good one.

I want an automatic water bubbler because my cat likes other water sources around the house besides her bowl. Like the kitchen sink and the toilet bowel and yes I do keep the lid closed, but my roommates can't seem to remember. I'm hopeing that the bubbler will intrigue her and keep her from using other sources from around the house. She likes variety.

cats love fresh flowing water I have a drinkwell pet fountain and my cats LOVE drinking from it. I'm sure that the bubble thing is about the same. try and look around on the web and see if you can find some reviews on that.

Personally, I do NOT care for ANY type of automatic water dispenser for a cat/dog. They will all build up an algae/bacteria type of substance from the chemicals naturally found in water--unless, unless. . .you fill them with the purified water (or distilled water) that you buy at the store. There's nothing wrong with the plain ol' water bowl, and you can clean it daily. Although, for my cat, I use a ceramic (heavy) water bowl AND purified water, replaced daily. He surely drinks a whole lot more since I switched him from the tap water to the purified. I guess he doesn't care for chlorine and other chemicals any more than I do. So, I don't recommend ANY of these water dispensers--these are for the convenience of the cat-owner, NOT for the benefit of your cat. I don't recommend them--just my own opinion/preference.

I have used one of these. I like it because it also filters the water as it rotates through the system.

Keep it filled though, as in a daily fill, otherwise it won't work well.

I have never used one myself but have heard great things from people who have. I found this one on the Petco.com and it has great reviews.
