I would suggest talking to your doctor about what type of medication would be the best for you. Everybody is helped by different types of medications, and certain conditions work better with certain types of medications so your doctor would be the best source of information for you. Good luck!

I know how you feel. I have chronic pain with nerve damage. My doctor has had me on Oxycontin for about 5 years. It changed my life from misery to being able to function, take care of my family, have a career and over all feel normal again. It is a conterversal medicine, but if you take it properly and have a constant relationship with your doctor you should be able to get on a pain management program to help you. Please you have to go to a doctor who understands that people have the right not to be in pain.

Nikken has several products (not medicines- even better in my book) shown to help arthritis and chronic pain. They also have no side effects. Some I'd suggest:

- Sleep system: reduces acidity in the body as you sleep and aids in pain reduction. http://www.nikken.com/sleepcenter/womens-testimonials.cfm

- Magnets: these reduce pain and inflamation. A woman I know with fibromyalgia takes the small round magnets and puts one in her front and back pants pocket to reduce pain. http://www.nikken.com/product.cfm?ThemeID=3&GetGroupID=72

- Joint supplment: Helps keep your joints healthy http://www.nikken.com/product.cfm?ThemeID=6&GetProductGroup=Kenzen%E2%84%A2%20Targeted%20Nutrition&GetProductID=62

- Magsteps: Nikken's 1st product & still great for overall body health http://www.nikken.com/product.cfm?ThemeID=3&GetProductGroup=Magnetic%20Insoles&GetProductID=12

- Far-infrared: Good to relieve pain & inflammation http://www.iact1.com/enikken/ShoppingCart/LNG/ENG/KenkoWave_Broch.pdf

- Optimized PiMag Water: also good for overall health http://www.iact1.com/enikken/ShoppingCart/LNG/ENG/aqua_pour_del_EN.pdf

Let me know if you have any questions or would like more info. I think these products could really help, but wouldn't have the horrible side effects associated with some prescription medications

Before we can suggest something you haven't tried....it would be helpful to know what you have tried.
