i kind of thought that but i have the same version of media player on 3 different pc's and its only on one of them, the one that it is on is playing videos very slowly, i thought that might be the cause.

Urge is a program you would actually want.

It provides music information from cd's you put in to play on Windows Media Player. So you dont have to type all the information in, it will provide you the song artist, name, album, and the year it came out. Nifty little program. The only way to delete it however is to go back to an earlier version of Windows Media Player.

If I didn't know better, I'd say URGE's makers have a partnership with Microsoft which means its probably impossible to separate the two without causing problems...in fact, the only way might be to have some Microsoft source coding (only achievable in the Linux world).

I guess your only way out is to downgrade to an earlier, URGE-less version of WinMediaPlayer.

You need this for it to work.
