You seem to be struggling with matching the actions of your friends and yourself with the Mythological (Religious) definitions of "good" and "evil."
We do need some way of judging these things, for sure.
However, no set of prescribed values make up for the wisdom that age and experience can bring.
In other words, these concerns may become clearer in time.

i believe in myself.. if my friends do evil?? life isn't a comic book guy. there are no black or white to it, but shades of gray. tell me is killing a killer or a rapist evil? as a soldier is killing the enemy evil? is stealing for food and shelter evil? so are all the movie stars and singers evil, it is a commandment "thou shalt not make for thyself an idol"? you tell me what evil is and i can tell you the good in that evil, for evil is only an opinion.

You believe in others more than yourself because you know your potentials and weaknesses. Knowing them you lessen yourself to only what you see of others. You join with them because people all have this sense of belonging and acceptance. In order to fit in they do what their friends to. They go with the flow instead against it.

As a Christian we have to be very careful who we have as close friends, obviously we have to be a witness to all but we have to be strong enough to draw the line when we have to. If our friends start doing something we know to be wrong we have to tell them and try to persuade them to stop, if they willnot stop then we have to and hopefully they will value our friendship enough that they will change their ways. Being a Christian is not easy, but we have Jesus Christ, creator of the universe to help us, he is a very present help in time of need. All we need do is put our trust in him.

Without belief in myself I am nothing. I am responsible for what I do and think. Friends that do evil wouldn't remain my friends.
