I would love to see the White House, but I don't think that I could stomach the thought of having dinner with such an idiot who can't see his own mistakes in front of him.
I think I would go if Laura invited me, though. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders.

The White House Conference on Global Literacy
Mrs. Bush hosted the first ever White House Conference on Global Literacy in September 2006 to encourage international cooperation to change lives and build free societies through literacy. The Conference developed as a result of Mrs. Bush’s visits to countries around the world where she witnessed the power of literacy to improve lives, especially for women and girls.

I live in the US, so having dinner with the President would mean dining with George W. Bush.
I don't agree with his politics, I think he's managed to get us in a huge mess in Iraq, and I don't think he's really as honest as I would like him to be about political matters, but I would still have dinner with him. I wouldn't even mind disussing politics and religion with him.
I figure he's just an ordinary guy with an extraordinary job. That's how I would approach it, too. I don't think he deserves to be treated any differently than anyone else I would dine with just by virtue of the job he does. I would dress nicely, and use nice table manners, but I wouldn't hold my tongue if I disagreed with something he said. There's no sense in kissing his butt just because he's the president.
In all honesty, I would probably spend most of my time talking with Mrs. Bush. I have always liked her. The Bush women seem a lot more interesting to me than the men. She would probably be an interesting hostess.

I honestly don't think I could accept the invitation in good faith. I don't think I could remain civil. I think there would be at least a small chance the evening would end with me being renditioned off somewhere because I spoke my mind in a less-than-respectful manner.

I would go. I would ask him where the hell he comes up with some of the nick-names for his cabinet. Some of their nick-names are pretty low brow, especially for a president. I would also come equipped with some drinking stories, since he's really big on that. I would also try looking up some dirty jokes and try to dummy down my topics of conversation so that he can understand.

You bet I would go , and I would take the news press with me.. I would ask:::, if ,,,All the oil money his family and friends are making from KILLING our own brothers and sisters , worth it. And all so does he ever tell the truth about anything. Or I would ask if he lied to his wife about how long 6 in. is. I could go on but it would do no good. He will only LIE to you and me , and go on killing our brothers and sisters.. Pray for our dead please....

Yes. I would talk about tax's,social security, home land security, and border security. I already know what we need to do about the war, and we are doing it. I would also ask what the problem is with our elected officials that they are not working for us and are pursuing their own agendas. Not that he could do any thing about that, thats our problem to solve by not voteing them back in office.

Yes, of course.
I would hold a normal conversation, varying between the mundane topics and the more serious topics.

Yes I would go. Answering the 2nd part is a bit more difficult. I'd play it by ear.
