I seem to recall one time getting eight thumbs down on a religious question and I wouldn't have even known if I hadn't of gone back to add something else to my answer. I also had half a dozen thumbs up for the same answer though so what can you say about it all in a real sense. I've had several accounts terminated since I began playing Yahoo, some for justifiable reasons ( Oh man were some of those comments funny!!!!), others out of spite from people who didn't share my sense of humour or felt offended by my opinions. What do you do? Not everyone going to love you, or hate you, or give a darn either way. The thumbs down thing doesn't bother me at all, I play with Yahoo mostly because it makes me laugh and no Yahooligan bully can shout down what's in script so I always get my two cents worth whether they like it or not. Lots of fun for most everyone, but especially me!!!!!

My biggest number of thumbs down (double digits) occurred when I answered that:
1. A single betta fish doesn't need a 5 gallon tank;
2. Ron Paul doesn't stand a chance to become president
3. there is no after-life.
The thumbs down about the betta fish really stung (LOL)!

To my knowledge, I have gotten as many as 35 thumbs down to one answer. That same answer also has 38 thumbs up, so it pretty much equals out. I wasn't too happy about the thumbs down--my answer was sound and rational; but hey, people have a right to hit whichever thumb they like.

I've gotten 5 I think, and I'm really happy to get them because it means I'm rattling someone's cage. Suprisingly, I get the most thumbs down on positive messages and when I have an 'inconvenient thruth' that challanges someones thinking.

Dont give a toss, I'm only in it for the laughs. Although when I get more than six I do get a slight 'negative bluety on a quack handle with a jessop-jessop-jessop'.

Those large numbers of thhmbs down usually come from the homosexuals ganging up on people, when someone exposes that they're wrong, or exercises their freedom of speech respectfully.

I think I remember a question asking you your favourite video game and I said 'Chucky Egg' and it got some thumbs down.
I don't know why, I was honest and it was an awesome game.

Hardly worth the effort of even caring about it. Democracy isn't predicated on using the best and brightest and is a capricious beast at the best of times.
