That may be hard there are a lot of cowboys in Ireland at the mo. If you have any contacts you should ask them for a reccomendation. Our first home was destroyed by cowboys but the second time around we got great recommdations. If someone recommends a family member just say no, trust me on that.

nice wild country out there -but as they say -you don't go to Ireland for the weather- yes do it -price's of homes in Ireland so expensive today-just find local contractors and do some of the work your self-or ill send me crew over to do it for yea !

I'd only do it if you can be there yourself for the entire time, Irish builders are largely cowboys.

Take lots of money. Dont use Irish builders.
