I am a Christian and I have no doubt that some of these televangelists are not being honest, just making money, 1 Tim 6:10, For the love money is the root of all evil, unfortunately a lot of people don't see thru their evil and send them money, they send it in good faith so they get their reward but the ones recieving it who lie cheat and steal will be held accountable to God. I don't think I would want to be against God when it comes to stealing money in the name of Christianity.

They don't go scot-free, God will deal with them in His way and in His time. It is a shame that these people are able to do what they do and get away with it for so long, and true Christians are as opposed to them as anyone is. It is only because of the gullibility of people that they can do it. If Christians would read thier Bibles as they should these frauds would have no audience.
Not all of them are evil, I have great respect for men like Billy Graham etc, but most of them are.

staggering question! the persons you pronounced are a minority, and a shrinking one. The technological demands of the worldwide are going to stress us into having larger academic standards because of the fact we can in no way be waiting to compete against India, China, etc., if we don't. television reflects the custom wherein it exists. Fiction is fiction - there have been on no account any "hobbits" interior the real worldwide, however the "LOTR" tale is a huge one that shows the cost of the willingness to sacrifice for an excellent reason. that's a metaphor for the efforts of the infantrymen in the time of WW2. i'm in contact with reference to using issues like ghosts, etc., yet do you think of the scholars are gazing television? i do no longer think of television provides to human beings believing in something weird and wonderful - i think of they'd have self assurance in weird and wonderful issues in spite of if television did no longer exist. television additionally has academic channels, like PBS, TLC, and the invention Channel so there are innovations to gazing shows approximately werewolves and ghosts. maximum persons comprehend that there is a distinction between a television instruct and actuality. people who don't could no longer likely to be applicants for a Ph.D. or M.D. confident we do could take a little time for extra scientific literacy, however the persons who have self assurance weird and wonderful or nonsensical issues are shrinking in extensive variety because of the onset of the internet the place concepts is obtainable around-the-clock on a daily basis. There are nonetheless some web content committed to issues which do no longer make any experience any further yet standard the type is for human beings to be extra knowledgeable approximately issues and it will proceed because of the fact in the event that they do no longer that's much less in all threat that they are going to survive and flourish interior the long-term. those with educations, extra often than no longer, have a tendency to make very plenty extra money. With right this moment's economic equipment being what that's you will discover why this is no longer purely clever anymore - its a necessity. Starred question.

u r right. law makers are law brakers. most of the people i can say good people are giving charity for the welfare of poor people in countries like india. but some people in the name of god are accumulating huge assets and enjoying life and the poor people are in the same old situation. apart from the law is it not the responsibility of the foreign people to know whether their charity is going to right persons or not. in telugu there is a epithet which says never give charity to undeserved. already there are lakhs of cases are pending in courts. hence suo moutu case cannot be taken up. recently one charitable institution from u.k filed a case againt a church father for misappropriating funds and submitting bogus bills to the u.k charitable instituions. the matter is in the court now. my perception is that before giving charity better to check the antecedents of the institution through the union govt or respective state govt and needful is to be done.

They are protected by Western Constitutions. It doesn't work in countries where the government decides what God you can watch a TV show about. Thank God we don't live in a country like that!

Talking about the times we live in...
2 Timothy 3:1-5......But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.

No.
When you can claim to hold the keys to Heaven and Hell, Eternal Life, God's Grace, etc., then your ordinary person, rich or poor, with troubles and sorrows can't help but be drawn in.
After all, it doesn't cost anything to listen.
That is why I despair at intelligent people who give away their reasoning powers for these false comforts.
That is the real shame.

Barter guidance for error and win in this world their riches. And are horrible loser's in the hear after. Reminds me of a verse in the Quran that says, Oh Allah, punish them more for they where the ones that lead me astray. And the Lord is so kind he says. Granted!
