I have often wondered WHY NOT JUST GET MARRIED! this is very controversial subj because I believe it is a hypocracy 2 every person who participates:
Why is it that people can run after lust & have sex with a total stranger, running the risk of STD's unintended pregnancy, possible victimization because they didnt take the time 2 get to know who they were sleeping with but its almost impossible 2 get the old fashioned lets run away together & get married attitude. Everybody seems 2 be looking 4 "The ONE" & trying each other on like u would a department store shoe selection...dont forget your footies! My grandparents eloped & stayed married 4 the rest of thier lives. My sister got engaged right away, but people THINK tht its safer to "get 2know som1?" But frankly, if a person is a liar, a cheat, bad person, whatever, they r going 2continue & can trick u no matter wht. If they are not, then they are not...people dnt run arnd changing thier charachter alignment. Gtta tk a Chance.

Rachel J, I completely agree with you and I'm on the same page. For all of my 20s I perceived aggressive and rebellious men as exciting, but at least my common sense told me they were not marriage material. My parents got married two weeks after they met in 1973 and have been together ever since. You are right, about taking a chance, but at the same time being true to yourself and the other person. We are essentially that person we attract, be it good or bad. I am not in dating situations for fun and games, I respect myself and the guy and am fine being single but not all over the place (pun intended) ... Does anybody do the romance and "courting" anymore? Romance without friendship and respect first putters out ... players can play other players ... It's all about standards and priorities.

I don't really know what you are trying to say but I think a lot of people don't get married quickly because weddings are expensive and eloping isn't always an option. I would have been happy to elope but my husband had a large and close family so we had to do the whole spending $15000 on a wedding thing.

Your question presumes that bisexuals are inherently incapable of self administration (i.e., they like to have intercourse with each and anyone they see everywhere, each and all of the time), while heterosexuals and homosexuals are. Why do you're making that assumption? right this is a question for you: How can heterosexual human beings dedicate themselves to someone in marriage in the event that they like human beings of a similar intercourse? case in point, if a heterosexual person likes the different person of the different intercourse, who do they elect to marry? I propose, until eventually once you're a polygamist, you may purely marry one person, so how are you able to easily %. one person, or do you no longer finally end up getting married in any respect?

Sex is fun. But just because you are married doesn't mean you will stay married.
Being married also doesn't mean you really know that person. If everyone married the first person they slept with, divorce rates would sky rocket.

sex is great...

if you don't like it and are obsessed by STD's (boring subject), then stay away... abstain... become celibate!!

and let others enjoy themselves without your sermonizing!!!
