Our common ancestor, and neanderthal type people probably had no way of knowing God, therefore getting an instant "Ignorance is Awesome" pass to heaven. So is that an exciting thought?

I suppose there will be lots of other people that might be more exciting (like Kirk Cameron)... but it just seems cool to meet those ancient folks.

I like your point when you mentioned the "Ignorance is Awesome" pass. That is also why all of the religious people will go to "heaven" because they are ignorant. Yet when they die, they will probably find out that there is no heaven, and all they will see is the bright light at the end of the tunnel and a big sign that says "Just Kidding!" and their soul will be sent back to earth to mingle as miserable ghosts.

I, however, will be having lots of fun with you in hell. Luckily only cool people go there, so it will be an endless party there. Hopefully I will get a chance to have butt sex with Satan. Ahh, I can't wait. Would you like to share a mansion with me? I will water the fire garden with Heineken, and you can make sure that all of our sex slaves are dressed up nicely. See you there pal.

Friend, I hate to tell you but the neanderthal man was not a son of God & they did not have a soul, so they are NOT our ancestors, Now you say you will be in hell & to call you sometime, Again I hate to tell you, there is no phone in hell & if there was, you will be in so much torment, that you would not have time to talk.

Religion was around since the time of Adam and Eve. Yes, I look forward to seeing the many wonderful souls and the beautifulness of heaven. Most of all, I look forward to seeing God.

I suppose if you believe in an after life you must believe in fairies as well. It’s all nothing more than superstitious mumbo jumbo put in poor simple peoples minds to give them some hope.
