i receive the best answer? i know this may sound trite, but it's really not about points. more about acknowledgement. not talking about silly stuff.

just wondering if anyone knows.

i know how u feel luv. i have experienced the same,as many other answerers would have also experienced. some people are just inconsiderate. it's nothing personal. keep answering away. some people, like me 4 instance, actually do appreciate a thoughtful answer. :)

Brilliant answers do not get chosen because
that isn't what the person asking the question wants. Doesn't make sense. As for being the only answer just be patient. The person asking the question may have let the question go to the voting process. If you answer was truly the only answer you might get the best answer yet.

I don't know the answer to your Q again, but I think it's nice to at least get an answer because the more answers the better to me when I ask a question and I appreciate every effort even if I don't agree with the answer. I would pick you as the best though if you we the only one and you stated fact.

I looked at some of your answers and to address your question I noticed you used the phrase "I am not a doctor", "I don't know" and "in my opinion" quite a bit. Honesty is good, but reading those statements leads one to question your knowledge. Perhaps state what you do know and good luck.

Quite a few askers just don't bother to select a best answer for their questions no matter how many or what kind of answers they get.
