can a stsph infection kill you?

i have an abcess that the dr. said is staph not mrsa but i am still worried

Yes. Some of the so called "flesh eating" infections are staph infections. Be sure to take all the meds the dr. prescribed, and don't miss any drs. appointments and you should be fine.

If you are already in the care of a doctor you should be fine. A [staph] infection can be very serious, even deadly.
